rt-ax88u lights turned off but router is still working

i noticed that all the lights on my RT-AX88u switched off.
i checked but the router is still working.

i toggled the led switch inside the app off:nothing happens
i toggled the led switch back on: all the lights came back on BUT turned off completely after approx 5 seconds

i never noticed this behaviour

Do you happen to have any addon scripts installed?
Do you have the amtm LED script enabled/installed?
PS: While certain functions within the Asus router app may work with Asus-Merlin firmware, the Asus router app is not officially supported by Asus-Merlin firmware. Use the router GUI, if you haven't done so already, to enable/disable the LED's and see if the issue persists.

This router has physical LED on/off button as well. Pressed by accident, broken? Check.
