Yes. That was my first assumption since AiMESH has worked flawlessly for all my other connected devices and given all the complaints in the Bose Community about the dodgy SW in the Soundtouch (And Music) line up this seem like the most likely reason. Bose hasn't been able to help me my so my last hope was that there's some hidden setting deep down in the FW that only ASUS, or ASUS pro's, knows of that causes trouble for multiroom speaker systems.
Bose said that they'll release Airplay 2 for the Soundtouch lineup during 2019. I hope this promise will hold because it could be a walk around.
Anyways. If somebody who knows of this hidden setting stumbles across this thread, please share.
