Trouble with Google Pixel wifi connection RT-AC3100 and log flood 382.1_2

The wifi seems to be working and other devices are connected. My Pixel phone will connect and work fine for a day and then refuse to connect at some point. The entry for the wifi will go into disabled state in Android due to no longer working. In the system logs I see this on repeat:

Once I restart the router, it will connect again and continue functioning until this problem arises. Smart Connect is enabled with all default settings. I can help debug and collect more logs if needed.

Google knows about this bug, and they're pushing out a patch to fix it.
