My stats went from over 50% blocking to less than 3% just recently. It isn't blocking anything according to the stats.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I recently enabled dns filtering to just the router. Could that have an effect on it? I can't think of anything else different, other than some weird behavior with a lot of orphaned inodes on the usb drive, but that appears to be fixed and running smoothly for now.

Check your diversion list. I noticed mine (somehow) went from 50k to 3k. Reinstalling fixed it.

Skynet blocks this because of puu.sh. At least for me. Took a while to chase this down from my outbound blocks on 162.243.129.169.

did you add puu.sh/162.243.129.169 to skynet block?... I've seen that name/IP creating outbound blocks exclusively on my router...

No, it's blocked because the IP falls in a blocked range.

Code:
162.243.129.169 is NOT in set Skynet-Whitelist.
162.243.129.169 is NOT in set Skynet-Blacklist.
162.243.129.169 is in set Skynet-BlockedRanges.

BlockedRanges Reason;
-*-
Associated Domain(s);
puu.sh

It didn't change for me. Maybe I should unisntall Diversion and re-install it? I tried the reinstall in diverrsion through amtm, and that didn't work.
It's not blocking anything now. Reloading the list didn't work either. Not much else left but uninstall and reinstall.

Make sure you don't have any IP addresses entered on the LAN DHCP page under DNS Server 1. DNSFilter "Router" mode enforces this LAN DHCP DNS 1 server unless it's blank. If it's blank, then it defaults to the router's own IP address and dnsmasq server (and therefore Diversion).

Yes, it is blank. I have 3 manually assigned IP's below it. I didn't really think that would affect it, but it's all that I could think of that is different. Maybe the router alone should be in the client list?

Do you have any Apple devices recently updated to iOS 14 that might now be using encrypted DNS, bypassing Diversion? Or run some nslookup queries from a client and provide the full output. This should return your blocking address if it's working, or an error if it's not.
Code:
nslookup diversion-adblocking-ip.address

Yes, 2 iPhones and a iPad installed iOs 14 in the last couple of days.
This is what it returned
Code:
ASUSWRT-Merlin RT-AC86U 384.19_0 Fri Aug 14 19:19:51 UTC 2020
xxxxxxxx@RT-AC86U-8F38:/tmp/home/root# nslookup diversion-adblocking-ip.address
Server: 9.9.9.11
Address 1: 9.9.9.11 dns11.quad9.net

nslookup: can't resolve 'diversion-adblocking-ip.address'

Well something took affect, because it it blocking now. I tried reinstalling it again among other things, but it is blocking.

That output is from the router, not a client. As others have discussed already iOS 14 has some unpredictable results with DNS. I haven't upgraded my own devices yet, so I'm basing it on the "type=65" comments posted in the past week. See https://www.snbforums.com/threads/diversion-the-router-ad-blocker.48538/page-361#post-619518

OK, thanks, I should have read a little closer. I'm not sure I have a client that I could run it from, unless maybe break out a windows terminal.
Anyway, it is working for now, and I appreciate the help from you and everyone.

Edit: Back up to nearly 10% this morning, recovering nicely, but I'm not positive what to attribute it to.

Hi Jack. I'd like to suggest in some future release please consider asking if we want to create a new DB or use the older one and show the size. When uiDivStats ran for me it pegged both pCPUS for very long time periods and displayed errors when I removed and reinstalled so that route did not delete the old DB. It also had many "locked file issues" Just a suggestion..

Code:
uiDivStats: Creating database table and enabling write-ahead logging...
uiDivStats: Creating database table indexes...
Error: near line 1: index idx_dns_domains already exists
Error: near line 1: index idx_dns_time already exists
Error: near line 1: index idx_dns_clients already exists
uiDivStats: Database ready, starting services...
uiDivStats: Starting first run of stat generation...

/tmp/mnt/1234-ASUS-AC86U/entware/share/uiDivStats.d# ls -lrt
-rw-r--r-- 1 rootx root 738181120 Sep 7 11:56 dnsqueries.db.back
drwxrwxrwx 2 rootx root 4096 Sep 22 19:48 csv
-rw-r--r-- 1 rootx root 763428864 Sep 22 19:48 dnsqueries.db

Thanks.

Hi, after searching I saw some related posts but nothing that solved my problem after trying various things. My apologies if this has been covered but i missed it.

I noticed that suddenly there is no data showing in the Query Log window:

The SQLQueryLog.htm file is updating regularly, and I see data in that file:

Am I looking at the wrong file? I can't figure out why it's not appearing in the router UI. Any ideas?

Check the browser console for any javascript errors, something is probably tripping over and stopping it loading

I opened the browser today to review the console for errors and the data is back again. Strange, I didn't change anything initially to cause the data to disappear and, conversely, didn't change anything to get the data back. But glad it's back now, even though I can't explain the root cause. Hopefully it'll continue to behave! Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate the help.

I have an issue with Diversion statistics report, in console I see this -
GEThttp://192.168.1.1/ext/uiDivStats/DiversionStats.htm
[HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found 5ms]

I searched around for 30+ minutes and I can't find an answer. Did not read all 60 pages though. What do each of these mean (except All)?View attachment 27137
