I'm having an issue where I'm unable to get DynDNS to work with my Asus AC68U router. I'm using an Android phone as my main Internet line and therefore, it looks like this phone is giving my router an internal WAN IP address. for DynDNS I obviously need the WAN IP to be a public address. I get the flashing yellow exclamation mark with the message:" The WAN IP is not the external IP. External IP-based services will not work."

Is there any way for me to get DynDNS to work as it's a must for me to be able to access my things remotely.

Is this a 4g USA cellular device? If so trying to get back into it will be hard unless you have a government ID to setup a static ip for the device as 4g note gives you a private lan ip address.
