My setup is a little messy because my desktop PC and storage are at the family house and I live elsewhere.
Family House:
Second House:
GL.iNet GL-MT6000 (Flint 2)
GL.iNet GL-BE9300 (Flint 3)
Leaning towards Flint 2 because I just don't need much at the second property - AdGuard would then run on the router.
This then got me thinking about upgrades for the family house. It is a much bigger property and the network handles loads more traffic (majority between WAN, NAS and PC) so for the router I was thinking:
NAS:
PC:
Everything else that connects to the switches can remain as is.
As I'm writing this, I've realised that both NAS and PC would need to connect to router and from what I can tell only the Flint 3 has enough 2.5Gbps ports to support this. A Flint 2, Flint 3, 2.5Gbps PCIe and 2.5Gbps USB comes to £274.15.
Can someone sanity check this to make sure I'm not being silly please?
