I tried Kamojs addon and with Wireguard. It works very good I get very fast internet speed.
Is that on the r900 or r7800
Ive installed wireguard tools to root on r7800.Also Theres no place to put user name or password in the gui.
I get this from log.

Wireguard doesn't use user name and password, so no place to fill in.
Instructions are in the readme file for the beta test version.

If you follow the add-on instruction it will work automatically.
If you install Wireguard manually after kamoj add-on, it will e.g. corrupt/overwrite the wg-client from the add-on, and the GUI etc will not work.
So please follow Voxel instruction without add-on, or Kamoj instruction with add-on.

In any case, it's good to read instructions and readme files.

Sorry for leaving out that information:) I am using R9000

Apologies Kamoj.... and that will teach me to read ALL the readme file.Had to uninstall and reinstall your addon... all loaded ok ,but it seems pia dont support wireguard on routers yet.

Thank you for reporting back again!
Strange, but you should be able to use a generated config file for windows or android or Linux etc.
Just paste the contents into the add-on GUI filed in Create/Edit an WireGuard Client Configuration manually.
The wg-client extracts and converts the configurationso it suits Voxels wireguard-go !
So try to create a config for nonm-router and try again!!! - And report back!

This is what I get but not connected to internet. Had to reboot

@jrbmw
Try this:
Logon to the router and run from command line:
Code:
sed -i 's/IP\.\"/IP\.\" \&\& sleep 25/g' /etc/init.d/wg-client
Then reboot.
Any change?

I'm currently already using OpenVPN server on my R7800, to allow inbound VPN from my iPhone.
This always prevented my from also using the OpenVPN client for outbound VPN.

Would it now be possible to use WireGuard for outbound VPN, while still using OpenVPN for inbound VPN??

@kamoj
Applied 2 min delay for wireguard but still no internet.

Which provider do you have?
If it's your own server, please look into it, because in the client side all is fine.
Your server at "IP of EndPoint myserver.dyndns.org is 2.49.147.209" does not respond.
So your next step will be to contact your vpn provider (if any) to ask why.
but it seems pia dont support wireguard on routers yet.

Thought that might be a problem. I will look into it.
Im using pia for open vpn and using their dns servers.Would that cause any problem when I switch to wireguard ?

No, I can't say it would be any problem. Not at all.
But I still don't understand what you are trying to do.

I used a wireguard config generator for the files but Im not subscribed to the dydns server in them so thats why wireguard didnt connect to the internet.
I wondered if using different provider dns servers would conflict as they do when I enable upnp.
The pia app on my laptop has the choice of ovpn or wireguard but as yet no wireguard config files available to download.
Ovpn works superbly and fast on the router The wireless internet on my laptop is actualy faster than my wired connected sat box...Big thanks to you and Voxel.
So my next mission is wireguard running

Regards

Got wireguard up and running now. Speed doesent seem as fast as opvn turbo .
When wireguard is enabled intenet works but the internet led on the router goes orange .
If I goto internet settings and apply them led goes white but I lose internet.
Log seems to indicate conflict with opvn.
After rebooting led white wireguard and internet on.
