Yet another AIMesh stability problem

Hi all,

I have tried just about everything to get AIMesh to work, but it still disconnects frequently and is unstable.

My main router is a RT-AC68U my node is RT-AC68P. They are direct line of sight of one another about 15 feet apart. Per other suggestions here, I downgraded the firmware in both units to: 3.0.0.4.384_21140. That has made no difference.

In looking at the logs, I see this error:

Why would I be getting low signal and disconnects with the routers so close?
 
Not error, the message is normal.

Could you send feedback with System log, WiFi log by Administration->Feedback function?

But every time that happens my laptop goes offline.

Base on the information you provided, I only can tell you that. If you can send feedback with system log, wifi log by Administration -> Feedback, Maybe I can find more.
 
Thanks How do I get the report to you? Are you with ASUS?

Use the Feedback tab in the router GUI. Comment with your SNB userID. If the Feedback says it did not send, ignore it... I think it still sends (mine did). And ignore the Google login nonsense.

Arthur is an Asus employee. If your ISP prevents the Feedback form from working, send it to the router_feedback email address visible on the Feedback page, specifying your forum username so Arthur can link it to you.
