Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

No worries :), I was just curious why the same settings would cause issues when switching to the Beta version. Generally, 388.2_2 is quite stable. I've only encountered this problem with Beta 3. So, I'll wait and see how the next version performs before making a decision.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

Due to the same settings, there are no issues in 388.2_2, only in the Beta version. Moreover, it's not just the iPhone X; other devices like the Samsung S21 FE also experience this problem. Basically, even devices connected to the AX68U's WiFi encounter this issue. But it seems like I'm the...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

No, I didn't turn off. Both radios are enabled. Do you mean that I have to turn off "Universal Beamforming"?

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

I'm sorry, my English is not very good, so I have been trying to use translation tools to respond. Currently, it seems that I am the only one experiencing this issue, and it's not related to this Beta 3. I'll revert back to 388.2_2 for now and try the next version of Beta3 when it's available.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

This issue only happen in beta firmware. 388.2_2 does not has this issue. AC66U+ that's an AP not AiMesh. This AC66u+ wifi does not has problem. AX68U that's a main router. It has a wifi problem on beta. 388.2_2 does not has problem. The QoS is disabled.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

Only AX68U speed test is stuck. I don't use QoS, I have an AC66U+ functioning as an AP, and it doesn't have any issues with Wi-Fi speed reduction.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

The Speedtest for wired internet is 5XX, but the WiFi is only at 3XX. After switching back to 388.2_2, the WiFi's Speedtest goes back to 5XX. My QoS is disabled.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

The reason I'm checking the Wifi TX/RX is because my Speed Test is stuck and can't go above 500Mbps. I can confirm that there's no one else using the network at the moment. The wired test gives me speeds in the 5XX range, but with Wifi, I'm only getting speeds in the 3XX range. Furthermore...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

My phone battery is above 90%. Without making any changes or charging, after I switched back to 388.2_2, the speed returned to normal.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

I'm not sure if anyone has encountered this issue, but originally I was using version 388.2_2. When my iPhone X, connected to WiFi ac, the WiFi TX/RX speed was at 866. However, after updating to the Beta version, the WiFi TX/RX speed dropped to below 866, displaying at 433 AC. Upon reverting...

    [ 388.2 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I don't use alexa, so I don't have this issue. My version is 386.7_2 (Merlin). It is hard to reconfigure everything for me too. I used to reconfigure by script in Tomato version. Is it an easy way to reconfigure in Merlin version? Like device name, static IP, port forward. etc. Because of that...
