New Around Here
So I bought a pair of TP-LINK TA8010Ps from my local Hughes: I wanted to see if my shed's electrical supply was indeed on the same ring as the the house, so I paired the two & trundled off down the end of the garden with one. Low and behold the little green lights pop up on the unit suggesting that both the Ethernet and power line network connection were good. Hooray !
Here's where it unfolds: I wanted to use the Sky SR102 as the second wireless AP, but I struggled to turn off my old router's DHCP. All I could manage was to fix it's IP, which has seemed to work when logging into the Netgear modem/router. Now when I walk to the bottom of the garden, I get connection to the AP, but it won't connect to the Internet. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Luke
