Aimesh Sticky Client Issue

The Tesla was working like your AiMesh. And the hardware quality was to match.

I got my ASUS working great, you, I guess not.
I got my Teslas working great, you, I guess not.
I got my AI working great, you, I guess not.

Does anyone see a pattern here?

It's different levels of quality expectations. Usually the less you know the lower the expectations. We can talk about cars in different thread/place. I have some high-end gear in my garage and >6K km track racing last season. We can talk about other technologies as well like the usability of wirelessly connected cameras and the difference between common consumer toys and real surveillance gear.

Fair enough. You're right, a lot is about expectations.

Blinks have been fine, dirt cheap, they work, run years on two AA. They are TOY cameras, catching wild life, boats (summer), snowmobiles (frozen lake), around my property etc.
For the record, I have never launched a Tesla, ever, they are NOT built for it and will/would break. I typically have mine in Chill.

Whatever makes you happy. Remember my suggestion was "on your next upgrade" when we started this conversation in the previous thread? Nothing we discuss here is an emergency in life. I can offer options based on needs ranging from under $100 AIO home router to multi-AP systems in thousands, indoor and outdoor, fiber or wireless long distance links. I run a few IT related businesses and have seen some things. The important part is to keep reasonable balance between price and performance. From your description you have a nice property with good enough budget. If you want to improve your home network some time in the future - here on SNB Forums we can help doing it right. I also see you have interests in technology and perhaps such DIY project will be very satisfying to plan and execute.

And likewise, from my first post, "Pretty disappointed that ASUS does this and I may look elsewhere next time around"

We both dug our heels in. I may have saw "on your next upgrade" but it faded, but you kept reminding me ;)
