Hi all
Just bought a new AC-68U - like the look of the new AC routers about to come out but cant afford the big bucks involved so instead went with AC1900 as advised on SNB
Anyway was just going to sell my N-66U and prefer the simpler setup ideally but just thought that if the new router doesn't have the range to reach upstairs with good speeds would it be a good idea to connect the N66U up as an AP??
The house has Cat6 throughout and a Gig Switch in the attic so could easily add the N66U there to increase the range / speeds upstairs but what Im not sure on is mixing the wireless capabilities i.e. would adding the N access point decrease overall wireless performance of the new AC router for example
Apologies if a noob question not sure how this stuff
inter-operates
Thanks for any advice
