Both the ASUS Areion 10G and XG-C100C have a single network port that supports 10 Gb / s, 5 Gb / s, 2.5 Gb / s, 1 Gb / s, or 100 Mb / s networks via standard Cat 5e- or Cat 6e- Network cables (Cat 6 required for 10 Gb / s). In either case, the cards are connected via PCIe 3.0 X4. The biggest primary difference seems to be the design, where the XG-C100C has a simpler design with a red heat exchanger.
