Giving this a shot. The Bandwidth monitors do seem to be behaving better. Still shows both CTF and FA being enabled.. but the 24-hour and daily monitors seem to be registering correctly. Will have to wait a day or two to see if this remains the case. Came from Merlin's 358_2. Did not reboot/reset router, just updated the firmware.

Did CPUs graph work correctly with this version on AC68U or its still showing no activity because FA is enable
Two last firmware cpus shows nothing even with massive download.

For me it is kinda slow. Usually I am getting something around 925/201 Mbps on Speedtest on a wired connection, with this firmware I am only getting 830-840/201 Mbps. Back to Merlin's 378_56_2.

Repeater Modus does not work in this version again.

Last working Firmware was 378.4585

@vanic can you please check this bug

Who else with this error
Hi vaszago,
So you can't use repeater mode in RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.1031? Please give me 3~4 days to check what happened.
If possible, please define what problem you encounter, ex. can't change into repeater mode / stuck in setting page etc.
"Repeater Modus does not work in this version again." => If more information or define what you face, we can understand how to debug or fix.

Thanks,
Vanic

Thanks

On AC68U i can aktivate the Repeater mode. The AC68U is connecting with the AC87U on 5GHZ channel 112 and the the connection is stable. But the AC68U does not assign addresses to the clients. The client can't connect and get no ip. On Wireless and Lan. If I forgive the client a fixed IP address i can connect and i have internet.
I think a DHCP problem. I have testet with latest firmware.

I hope that is enough information

On AC68U is last working 378.4585 or Merlin 378.54_1
On AC87 is the latest Merlin.

Didn't see any change on my part.

I had problems with the previous official release but this one work good with my two 68U repeaters. Should be noted that my main router now is a 88U, before it was a 87U.

Well, even with NAT acceleration enabled with both CTF and FA being enabled, the bandwidth monitor seems to be working much better.

Data usage from Cox's usage meter:
12/12/2015 - 4.67 Gigabytes
12/13/2015 - 1.06 Gigabytes
12/14/2015 - 7.29 Gigabytes

From Daily Traffic Monitor:
Date Reception Transmission Total
12-14-2015 7.31 GB 0.09 GB 7.41 GB
12-13-2015 1.11 GB 0.03 GB 1.14 GB
12-12-2015 4.68 GB 0.06 GB 4.75 GB

I just updated my router with 3.0.0.4.380_1031 and after some hours, my router started to act weird. Not able to access it via LAN or WiFI.
By using LAN i was able to access the router, by refreshing my browser every 3-4 sec to log in etc. Almost like it's rebooting some internal software. Page stated; "Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh. Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC68U.
To access the settings of RT-AC68U, reconnect to the wireless netowkr and use the updated IP address and port number" or something like that.

Ended up by degrading to 3.0.0.4.378_9313. Now finally stable again.

I know I changed some VPN settings that day, but not sure if that is the issue or if it's the firmware.

I also have a RT-AC68U (T-Mobile device) that I have flashed with Asus Software. This one runs fine with the same settings and Latest firmware. .

This FW like other 380 version I previously tested completely screws 2.4ghz network. Many devices will either fail to get an ip by dhcp or will take a long time and will have most ports blocked. Affected devices: one plus X, nvidia shield tablet, hp printer, nexus 7 and Motorola G2. The devices that support 5ghz have no problem when switching to 5ghz and my nexus 6p seem to work ok on both 2.4 and 5ghz.

Did you factory reset it?

same here with iphone 6s and a cheap laptop! reverted firmware and 2.4ghz works again fine..

Maybe the wifi driver was replaced on the 2.4GHz band and no mention in the release notes. .380 is running fine on the 88U.

Count me in - neither my Sony BD Player nor Xperia Z2 Tablet was able to access the internet via 2.4GHz band with this firmware. IIRC, they were getting a DHCP lease but the DNS queries failed (don't quote me on that one, though).
