AsusWRT-Merlin + Huawei E3372S kernel bug report

Hello,
I've an Asus RT-AC68U with latest Merlin 384.6

For connecting to the Internet, I'm using an Huawei E3372s connected via HiLink mode.
Detail:


Everything works smoothly until connection drops due to the kernel error reported below.
To make things working again, I've to reboot the router.

Please note that I've just made a clean installation of everything.

Hi,
actually I don't know since before this Merlin version I used a mobile phone (android tether) rather than an Internet Key.
Through mobile phone never experienced such an issue.

Other than changing firmware for making tests,
do you have any suggestion based on the log I attached?

Not really, the crash could be caused by anything.

IIRC Merlin said he doesn't touch the USB dongle code so it's probably a problem with the Asus code that they will have to fix, not Merlin. The only way to know is to go back to stock Asus firmware and see if it still crashes. If it does report it to Asus.
