Hi, nice job and thanks for tls support.
Anyway i am experiencing these errors:

Done.
+ logger AB-Solution updated hosts file and restarted dnsmasq
Existing /jffs/scripts/post-mount was replaced.
A Backup of the file is located at /tmp/mnt/ENTWARE/adblocking/backup
[: installed: unknown operand

The hosts file will update every Sunday @ 2:00 a.m.

ab-solution.sh: line 1: opkg: not found

Doing final checks if AB-Solution installed properly

checking /jffs/scripts/dnsmasq.postconf
OK, file found

ran into a little issue, on 380.59 merlin, had to manually install entware-ng first to get entware to start. seems to be working so far.
Thx for the great work!

How did you install entware-ng ? I just ran ./usr/sbin/entware-setup.sh

Thanks for the error report.
Entware was not installed, or not correctly for some reason. Therefore the command opkg was not available and the variable $psinstalled is empty because Entware is missing.
- What version asuswrt-merlin are you running?
- content of post-mount
- is entware in the root dir of your USB device?

How did you install entware-ng ? I just ran ./usr/sbin/entware-setup.sh
The entware-setup.sh in /usr/sbin/ and the one called the New Generation Entware-NG are the same.

I don't know why they did not make this obvious. Maybe @TeHashX or @ryzhov_al can explain it.

It's just confusing but the fact is, both scripts point to:
http://pkg.entware.net/binaries/

Check if you can reach http://pkg.entware.net or download one of the install scripts in the browser:
http://pkg.entware.net/binaries/armv7/installer/entware_install.sh

Hi, well i am also running ./usr/sbin/entware-setup.sh .
When i install it, it seems to work as long as i do a reboot.
Then my entware/opkg is gone/lost. I have no clue why.
Running XVRT/Merlin here on a r7000.
Stick is formatted ext3, entware install says:

I am not the maintainer of that script. But it looks like it cant find the /jffs/scripts/ directory.

It's almost the same, the one on hqt.ro will alsi create a swap file and will force create /opt folder
I forgot about the swap file. It's not needed for my adblocker script.
Thanks for the clarification.

Then your router / firmware is somehow different than stock or RMerlin firmware.
Please post mount output

When you trying to install entware, script will look for mounted partition in /tmp/mnt
In your case found /tmp/mnt/opt but your mount output shows /tmp/mnt/ENTWARE
What's wrong?
Reboot router then post output from

TLC:

I had been running the ublockr variant of pixelserv on .59 on an 87u. I moved to .61 and did a factory reset, and as part of that I cleared jffs and I used your shooter40sw variation to install ab-solution.sh. The script said it went fine, but wasn't working, and I saw in the log the /opt error, so I reinstalled entware, then reran the script, copied over the .crt files from the ublockr install, rebooted, and everything is working fine. My blacklist has one entry, which isn't surviving processing the update-hosts; I'll look to see what is going on there. My one other issue is that I am using 192.168.0.xx (cable modem is on 1.1), so the 192.168.1.3 variety needs to be changed in pixelserv and the script.

But overall, this was really smooth and no more than 15 minutes. Sweet! Thought this might be of some use.
