Is there a browser configuration that needs to be made when you configure Asuswrt-Merlin (currently 384.4_beta3) to be accessible via https://<router's ipaddress>:8443 ?

Using Firefox 58.x and 59.0, the browser displays the following and eventually times out.

Hi Denna,

RMerlin has mentioned https login being buggy. I had the same issue, and it was due to all the old permanent certificate requests.

Which after clearing in Firefox (certificate's/SSL, and navigate over to server's, down to "Asuswrt-merlin", remove IP entry 192.168.x.x:8443) Top-down(leaving the last entry, or removing all).

If you removed all you'll be promoted to add an exception, if you left the last entry, you should be able to load in. I also changed my port to a nonstandard from 8443 to something else which is unrelated, but might also help.

Best,
Davi
