New Around Here
I have been using stock firmware in my ASUS RT N66U until now. I only found out about Asuswrt-Merlin fairly recently and am thinking of moving over to it.

I have configured a lot of things in my ASUS N66U and I don't want to redo everything by hand if possible. Does anyone know if the config file (from the save config option in stock firmware) is compatible with the import option in merlin ? Anyway to preserve the config when I update the firmware to merlin ?

Thanks

Look at this:
https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-me...-I-restore-my-settings-to-a-different-router?

I don't think that it requires specific RMerlin features to run. Read carefully.
