There's a thread dedicated to Pixelserv. May help you understand and make a decision for your network.Could anyone ELI5 what would be the advantage of installing Standard vs Lite please? (Pixelserv-tls vs not)
Install the Lite Edition if you're new to Diversion. You can upgrade to the Standard Edition at any time later.Could anyone ELI5 what would be the advantage of installing Standard vs Lite please? (Pixelserv-tls vs not)
Exactly what I did and served me well. It lets you dip your toes in then when you're ready you can delve furtherInstall the Lite Edition if you're new to Diversion. You can upgrade to the Standard Edition at any time later.
The option to upgrade is in d, as the name says, this upgrades the installation. It's a seamless process.Thank you all. Is upgrading a straightforward ordeal or will I need to uninstall and install the Standard Edition?
Cheers!
I'm not aware there is a YouTube ad blocking feature built into unbound.Does diversion blocks youtube adds infroz of videos or can i also enable youtube ad block in unbound?
Hi,
where do we find the list of hard-coded whitelisted domains in the latest version of diversion? has it changed recently?
thx
/opt/share/diversion/list/tmp_hardcoded_whitelist
i am running latest diversion and installed CA.crt but i am getting adds on okla speedtest which im using for testing purposes, i had the same query in this very thread and read back, i followed the advice that was given again but i am still getting ads, router is running latest asus merlin, not sure what i am missing here.
I had that today too. Update the list again, it's fine now. When I change my blocking list to large for some reason it says only 8 domains are blocked and warns me about it being less then 200.
Any help please
Thanks, mine seems ok now too, but ever since I've noticed more ads are appearing then before...I had that today too. Update the list again, it's fine now.
"Connect to DNS Server Automatically" - this needs to be the case? I have left mine at 9.9.9.9 and 149.112.112.112. Is that a mistake? Are you running the speedtest on your phone? If so the DNS may not be set to use your router.
also router settings do you have "Connect to DNS Server Automatically" Yes and also DNS filter "on", mode "router" under LAN|DNS Filter?
No, it is fine to use any WAN DNS you want."Connect to DNS Server Automatically" - this needs to be the case? I have left mine at 9.9.9.9 and 149.112.112.112. Is that a mistake?
I am as well but not in this instance, im on my laptop, i have 'connect to DNS server auto' in WAN page, and DNS filter is on and set to router in LANDNS filterAre you running the speedtest on your phone? If so the DNS may not be set to use your router.
