Hello,

I want to update my External-IP to my DDNS immediately if it changes (for example: VPN Client connects, VPN Client disconnects, daily reconnection from ISP, ...)

In the event the the VPN Client connects I can use the "openvpn-event"-script but is there a way to update the IP in case the VPN Client disconnects or the modem makes his daily reconnection to the ISP?

At the moment I use a custom "ddns-start"-script with a cron job which updates my IP every 30min.

But an event-triggered solution would be much more better:)

Can anybody help me?

Thanks a lot!!
