I thought the OpenVPN server binds to all interfaces.

The client does but not the server. Maybe it's different with Merlin's firmware.

My guess is that your DDNS address is not returning the correct WAN IP address

I think this is my problem. nslookup to my asuscomm domain is returning an IP address different than what the router is reporting as its WAN address.

Apologies if this has been answered I just can't seem to find a reference. I know this can be flashed like Merlin's fw but I was curious about downgrading (version wise). My RT-AC66U is running whatever the highest version Merlin released on it until support was dropped and I wanted to install this fork.

Are there know issues downgrading version levels at all and do you know if the generic configuration will still be in place or do I have to wipe and start from scratch?
