I have been determined to allow my router to run all month without a reboot. A new SSD has helped stabilize it and its running at ~94% memory and 40 mb of swap. UPTIME 18 days 6 hour(s) 29 minute(s) 39 seconds. Webpage is responsive but I see that the switch port frame is missing from the Network Map page today. I have a problem cable or something, so I usually check the link speed there. I have tried restarting httpd and httpds.

Can any of the web gurus tell me how to get this frame to re-appear? Preferably without a reboot.

should look something like this

That usually means the monitor process has crashed, for one reason or another.

Can that process be instantiated without a reboot?

If Shift+F5 doesn't fix it and you want it fixed then you may just need to reboot.
*Not sure that the router should be constantly using 40Mb of swap space though.

Well…got 18 days this month. This was indicative of a larger problem somewhere. Spectrum rebooted the cable modem and both primary and backup WAN were active this morning (no failback) and nothing was being logged anywhere.
