Hi all,

I hope I can get some help around my problem.

I do have an Asus router rt-ax59U and 4 Asus Zenwifi xt8 devices.

What I like to achieve is the connection of my heating device Bosch CT200. I can see that the device supports 2,4 Ghz b/g/n.

Tried several times to get the device connected without success so far.

When using an hotspot via my mobile I get connection to the server from Bosch.

Please see attached the actual settings.

The xt's are set as backhauls.

Thanks in advance for your help.

best regards
Alfons

Take a look at your syslog if you know the MAC addresses of the Bosch controllers - are they attempting to connect and then fail?

Hello, I did find the syslog entry but what does it mean I don't know.

Have you tried disabling wifi6 on the 2.4GHz band?

I can see that the device supports 2,4 Ghz b/g/n.
Double check the documentation with the unit. The English version of the user manual for the Bosch CT200 indicates it supports:
www.bosch-easycontrol.com.jpg

In your posted router settings screen capture it shows the 2.4Ghz Wireless Mode set to "N Only". The English documentation indicates support for 802.1b and 802.11g, not 802.11n. If you haven't done so already, try changing that mode to "Auto" if that selection option is available and if the option b/g Protection is shown when "Auto" is set, put a check in b/g Protection. Apply the setting changes and see if that fixes the Bosch device connection issue.

Also try a shorter simpler passphrase. Eight alpha numeric and use lower case with no special characters.
