New Around Here
Hello,
I use a geo-unblock service called https://dns4me.net (similar to unblockus).
In the router, I have created a hosts.add file (with entries) and placed it in the /jffs/configs/. I've set the permission as chmod a+rx and on reboot I've noticed that the etc/hosts file is appended with the entries in the hosts.add file.
The issue i have is that the entries don't seem to to work as they should. I have flushed my pc dns (ipconfig/flushdns) and rebooted both router and pc (win 10) several times.
Router: Asus RT-AC68U
Operation Mode:Access Point(AP) mode
Firmware:378.56_2
Is use of the AP mode compatible with hosts.add. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Samba
