How to setup repeater for Netgear DG834G

Hi, I have 2 unit Netgear DG834Gv3 has update the firmware to V4.01.40 ,
1 unit was connect to internet line & switch. when this unit signal transmit until 1st floor it weak... so I would like to setup same model DG834Gv3 at 1st floor .... how to I configure the second unit as repeater? I has try few times still cannot....
Can someone help me for this?

Use Repeater with Wireless Client Association mode on both routers. Follow the instructions on page 5-17 of the manual.
