New Around Here
Hi All,

I have been doing my research about LG NASes and now I know they are no longer supported by LG (kind of sad). I have my NAS about 4 years now, and it was working okay, but recently I tried to access the webmenu and it gave me this message when I tried to log in: "An error has occurred during the communication process with Daemon"
Fortunately I have backup all the info. I still have access to all the folders. and the FTP.
Now I just want to factory reset the device, so I can start again.
I manage to find most of the official firmware for this specific model. I also have the original CD with the original software ( NAS detector ...). Can anyone point me on how to do it? as I said I don't need to keep the information.
I have read that in some other LG NAS models you can do it by USB, others have pointed to do it through Lynux (not familiar with it but happy to try).
I appreciate any help.

Is there a user forum somewhere for LG sufferers?

Well I would advice you to replace it. You can check out many other good products available in the market these days.
