merlin 3006.102.5 issues

New Around Here
With AX16000E when saving settings it doesn't look like it saved, like user name I changed in PPPOE and it still shows the old user and password, changing DNS to DOT for example, I need to change it 4 times until it shows that it's enabled or disabled.
never had this issue, not sure if 3006.102.4 works fine but I didn't have this issue before with the RED theme.

Sometimes the page might not reflect the change even though it did in fact change.
Press F5 to reload the section or go to a different section on the router then go back to the section you were making changes on.
Most likely you will see the changes did change the first time you changed them.

I did, I also restart router, I also went from another computer another browser and cleared cookies. also for some reason I disabled captcha but it kept coming back. so something is funny with 5 version . do not update

Rather than being specific to the model of router or firmware version I think this problem is likely just a problem with your specific router/configuration - we'd have seen a lot more mention of this on the 3006.102.5 thread otherwise.
The last diagnostic test is a reset to defaults, with "initialize" selected.
