I have had several good routers over the years running Tomato and Merlin. I'm currently running an Asus RT-AC3100 with Merlin (384.8_2 firware). They have performed great for organizing and managing my home network, but none of them have had decent (actually functional) parental controls. I'm looking for recommendations of routers that you have used and can recommend with these features.

I want to be able to schedule internet access for some IP addresses. Most of my routers have said you can do this but none of them have actually worked consistently. If this is a user error issue I would love to understand what I could do differently.

I want to be able to easily see the web history of any connected devices. The implementation of this feature on my current router is terrible. The information is there, but it's not in chronological order and you can't resort it by different fields. Basically useless. Again, if I'm just stupid please inform me. :)

Other than that just good WiFi coverage and security. Please share your experience! Thanks.
