Rename RT-AC66U_B1 on config page

New Around Here
I have three RT-AC66U_B1 devices. When I go to any of their configuration web pages, it just tells me that it is "RT-AC66U_B1" but doesn't give me a clue which one. We use the same SSID's on all three devices, which is the way we want it. With our old Linksys routers, I could rename each to a unique name for its config web page. I cannot find any way to rename these ASUS devices. The only ways I've found is to either give each a static IP and just "know" that IP 192.168.1.33 is the first device and .34 is the second and so on. Or I could give each a unique guest SSID that no one is actually supposed to use but identifies the device.

Is there any way to rename the device so its config page quickly tells me which one I'm configuring?

Please note that I and NOT referring to renaming the SSIDs.

Thanks.

Using Merlin's third party firmware you can change the name under the LAN settings. I don't believe that option exists in stock firmware.

You could try setting a name at USB Application > Network Place (Samba) Share / Cloud Disk > Device Name but I don't know whether that will work or not.

Thank you. I suspected that might be the answer. I'll have to try talking the business into letting me play with one of the devices.
