The installation went fine after a good swift kick in the binary digits (Reboots)

I have this ASUS error

The WAN IP is not the External IP.
External IP-based services will not work.

Is this a problem? If so, how do I fix it.

This usually means that your router is behind another router. The main side effect is you won't be able to forward ports. This will however have no impact on the use of a VPN tunnel to a remote server.
