I had a power outage and after that my AC86U router stopped detecting any cable I plug in, at any port, including WAN port.
I can only access the router UI using Wi-Fi.

While testing, by disabling and enabling my PC network adapter, the router logged these messages bellow once for LAN 4, but still showed it as "unplugged".
Code:
May 5 02:11:55 kernel: eth1 (Ext switch port: 0) (Logical Port: 8) Link UP 100 mbps half duplex
May 5 02:11:55 kernel: <=== Deactivate Deep Green Mode
May 5 02:11:55 kernel: br0: port 1(eth1) entered listening state
May 5 02:11:55 kernel: br0: port 1(eth1) entered listening state
May 5 02:11:56 kernel: eth1 (Ext switch port: 0) (Logical Port: 8) Link DOWN.
May 5 02:11:56 kernel: ===> Activate Deep Green Mode
May 5 02:11:56 kernel: br0: port 1(eth1) entered disabled state
May 5 02:13:06 kernel: eth1 (Ext switch port: 0) (Logical Port: 8) Link UP 10 mbps half duplex
May 5 02:13:06 kernel: <=== Deactivate Deep Green Mode
May 5 02:13:06 kernel: br0: port 1(eth1) entered listening state
May 5 02:13:06 kernel: br0: port 1(eth1) entered listening state
May 5 02:13:07 kernel: eth1 (Ext switch port: 0) (Logical Port: 8) Link DOWN.
May 5 02:13:07 kernel: ===> Activate Deep Green Mode
May 5 02:13:07 kernel: br0: port 1(eth1) entered disabled state

I'm not sure what that "Deep Green Mode" is but I disabled it using.
Code:
# pwr config --dgm off
Code:
May 5 02:08:01 kernel: <=== Deactivate Deep Green Mode
May 5 02:08:01 kernel: Deep Green Mode feature changed to disabled (DGM status: deactivated)

I also did completely reset the router but with no avail. It still won't detect any cable. Even Asus restoration tool didn't work.

Is there anything I can do to restore that conectivity?

Try leaving it turned on, but unplugged from the power adaptor. For at least half an hour or more. Also, be sure you unplug all USB and Ethernet cables too.

If the following link doesn't help get results, you may need a new router.

Time for a new router then. :(

Or maybe :)
