As the title says, my router has curiously developed this problem. Thought it was the ISP so I called them up, but they swear it's the router or modem. No idea why it might be doing this.

Some other info:
-Connection is wired
-Never had any issues like this before now
-Most of the time when this happens, the bars on the router all show blue and the router hub/menu shows it as connected
-One of two router/modem setups in the house. The other one has been working fine and has zero problems

The first guess would be (as yours) that the ISP has problems - of course they swear not, but still this would be my bet! ;)

In the meantime you can restart (with power down for some minutes) the modem and router - and then wait an see!
Either one of your devices is dying (unlikely) or your ISP has temporary issues which they do not recognize yet - had this in the past with my ISP. :rolleyes:
The last resort could be a failing cable (between ISP, modem or router).
 
It seemed to fix itself, but here I am again, as it's started reoccurring.

Curiously enough, at the start time, it was 7:18:18 which is exactly 2 hours after the last time it happened.
