Yes.does it just run forever, i.e. never exits?
try running:Yes.
After a run (auto or manual) the last yazfi log entry is "yazfi is starting..." And nothing else
sh -x /jffs/scripts/YazFi runnow
So big for my terminal to handle it...try running:
and post the output pleaseCode:sh -x /jffs/scripts/YazFi runnow
i assume the below will workSo big for my terminal to handle it...
Is there any way to write the output to a file?
sh -x /jffs/scripts/YazFi runnow > /tmp/debugYazFi
It only writes the echo values...i assume the below will work
Code:sh -x /jffs/scripts/YazFi runnow > /tmp/debugYazFi
something is failing in verifying your config, please can you share your YazFi config file?
Sure: it's the default one, only with some changed values.something is failing in verifying your config, please can you share your YazFi config file?
whats happened with the line breaks at the top?Sure: it's the default one, only with some changed values.
Note that the only guests enabled are 2 and 5 (2.4 2nd guest and 5ghz 2nd guests)

Copy paste to pastebin I think, look at the picwhats happened with the line breaks at the top?
you've got guest 1 enabled which is contrary to what you said:Copy paste to pastebin I think, look at the pic

They're enabled on yazfi but disabled on system.you've got guest 1 enabled which is contrary to what you said:
that will cause errors, which you should see in the terminal that interface validation failedThey're enabled on yazfi but disabled on system.
WOW, as soon as I manually wrote false on yazfi config for the 1st and 4th guest networks, and hit apply again, everything started working. They're enabled on yazfi but disabled on system.

Maybe we've found the culprit?
i do, i'm not sure why it's passing. So I think you should check whether when yazfi guest is on, but system guest is off?
nvram show | grep bss_enabled
i do, i'm not sure why it's passing.
can you check what you get for
Code:nvram show | grep bss_enabled
adminRT-AC86U/tmp/home/root nvram show | grep bss_enabled wl0.1_bss_enabled=0 size: 76232 bytes (54840 left) wl0.2_bss_enabled=1 wl0.3_bss_enabled=0 wl0_bss_enabled=1 wl1.1_bss_enabled=0 wl1.2_bss_enabled=1 wl1.3_bss_enabled=0 wl1_bss_enabled=1 wl_bss_enabled=1
Sorry, just noticed this in the output you gave me. The error did print! So I think you should check whether when yazfi guest is on, but system guest is off?
Because if someone, like me, disable a guest wifi without first disable yazfi for that guest, it'll cause this...
And maybe you should improve logs and echos when error occurs?

No, i deem the config invalid therefore apply no settings, as things standYes I see, but my question is if yazfi detects that guest is disabled, it should continue to the others right? The problem is it continues the validation, but don't enable the config rules...
Only if I put false on yazfi config file for the disabled guests
