Upgrading firmware

Hi, whenever i upgrade my Asus AC68-U to anything higher than 384.19, it will change my security level to "Open system". Originally it was WPA2-Personal, but if i were to upgrade the firmware, it would change it and cause the router to disconnect every few hours. How do i fix this?

Flash the firmware you want. Do a full factory reset and don't use any saved backup config files (set it up manually).
