VPN dropping out and restarting issue

Hello all, after some help from members on the forums I was able to setup VPN Fussion on my gt-ax6000 using openVPN UDP with NordVPN. I was able to play Command & Conquer online through Revora server in p2p match making last night with no issues, no dropped games, ect. However, today I am trying the same setup and the game just all of a sudden cuts out and I lose connection to all players, and I have to relog into the entire game. It's like the VPN is just cutting out. Has anyone had the same type of issues? Here is a quick picture of what the ASUS log shows after the game looses connection. I see it says notify_rc restart_default_wan, could this be the reason for losing connection during gaming?

Is there a reason why this is happening? I also just tried using VPN Fussion setup with expressVPN with the same issue but different error message.
