Which repeater/extender for RT-AC68U?

Just upgraded to the RT-AC68U but cant find information about a suitable repeater/extender to boost the signal at the other end of the house. (NB previously I had a RT-N16 with an WL-330N3G as extender installed.)

The RT_N16 you have would work fine as a repeater or repeater bridge with dd-wrt installed.

I don't believe the RT-16 is AC capable. I've personally had great success with this Linksys WUMC710 as a bridge. There's a great deal on it at the moment:

As far a repeaters go...you may be better off finding AC-66U or AC-68R and making it a repeater.

I thought so, hence my original question. Does/will ASUS make a device that dose 'ac' and 'dual band' extending?

As far a repeaters go...you may be better off finding AC-66U or AC-68R and making it a repeater.

Any of their AC-capable routers can be used as a repeater: RT-AC66, RT-AC56 (only 2x2) or RT-AC68U.

I don't think they have any cheaper repeater-only solution yet for 802.11ac.
