Howdy howdy...
Anyone got any opinions to share on wireless NICs? I specifically need one that will work with promiscuous mode in XP/Vista, but I can do that research myself if I need to, I just need to good product recomendations to start with.
All I know at this point is that the chipset I've got in my laptop isn't cutting it (for promiscuous mode access, anyway), but at the same time I don't want to get a card for it's feature-set and wind up dealing with horrible performance or something...
Anyone have any inisght? Are they more or less on a level playing field nowadays or are there still any significant differences?
Also, my network at home (as well as any that I should be supporting with this card) will be 802.11g, so n compatability is a non-issue.
