New Around Here
Hi everyone,

Sorry if this a duplicate post. I had single ASUS RT-AX86U where I configured YazFi to have my guest network to tunnel through a VPN server where I can connect to a server I have abroad.

All working fine until i added a second AX86U with AiMesh and now this is not working anymore. Guest network is up, client VPN connected but once I connect to my guest network, no access to anything. I read that YazFi and iMesh don’t go very well together. Can this ever work with current versions?

Thanks!

By "iMesh" do you mean the Asus AiMesh feature? YazFi doesn't apparently work with AiMesh nodes. Couple of past comments from the YazFi developer:

Further a recent post from the YazFi developer indicates they are not actively developing anymore:

Actually, Jack said he's not CURRENTLY doing any work on this stuff.
That doesn't mean he won't circle back around or jump back in at some point in the future, but it's all on his GitHub if you (or anybody) want to fork and pick up where he's left things in the interim.

Interesting, hope this can get sorted asap. So can you advice on how I can get this to work with AiMesh? VPN connection secondary WiFi, whilst keeping regular internet access on primary WiFi, all using AiMesh?

From Jack's post that I linked to:
I pop up occasionally, but since I moved to pfSense and UniFi, and my Asus routers decided to give up the ghost, I'm not actively developing anymore. I chime in on support requests when I have time as well
