Anyone had any problems with Dns over TLS and Login.Live / Epic Games logins lately?

The last few days, my routers DNS over TLS setup (Using Cloudflare and google as backup) have been causing NS Lookup failures, and things like rocket league to fail authentication and hang on just the background screen after pressing L+R

Amazon Prime Video also was affected like this lately.

No issues here with Cloudflare Security using DoT. I would use only one provider as Stubby will cycle through all upstream resolvers configured in DoT.

haven't tried anything other than the preincluded list, the issue manifests with both cloudflare and google's DoT, might be a flaw in the ac88u's implementation, since it firmware hasn't been updated in a year at this point.

It looks like 1.1.1.1 is completely failing as both DNS and DOT, 1.0.0.1 works, 1.1.1.1 won't even pass the DHCP check.

Might be your ISP has messed up the Anycast addressing. Try Clean Browsing or Quad9.

Looks like its fixed now, after the umpteenth time rebooting the router and flushing DNS caches.
