ASUS RT-AC68R how improve Wireless

Hi i buy the ASUS RT-AC68R i got improved wireless but there is one room in the second floor that got some but not steady signal is there a setting i can adjust to improve the wireless signal ?

in the week spot i can see the 2.4 signal at times but not the 5G signal

The best I could suggest is physically changing the location of the router.

You could in theory boost power output on the transmitter, but I don't have much knowledge on that.

Have you read this thread http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showthread.php?t=12825? It has some tips that could be helpful.

According to the thread, the 5G signal has shorter range, I think this is the reason you can not see the 5G signal in the weak spot.
