Asus RT-AC88U with Merlin firmware - better wi-fi and network, recommendations

Hello!
I know it's not possible to determine some exact settings, but anyway - how should I set-up router for maximum wifi coverage, speed, stability, and not only wifi but overall ?
Got a simple network at appartment: PC, TV1, TV2 - by cables to router; laptop1, laptop2, smartphones and tablets - by 2.4 or 5 wifi.

I would say no, not normal, but it is a feature of the current firmware.

See my install notes for basic router settings. You don't need to change many from their default.

If you use separate SSIDs and fixed channels (not Auto) for stable/predictable WiFi, you won't get those excessive acsd log entries.
