Best Netgear wireless router for going through multiple floors?

So I use to have a WGR614 and had no lag or delay when playing my PS3 or 360 online. It died so I bought a WNR2000. I quit playing my consoles because I would have a 1 second delay when trying to play online. Any suggestion on a Netgear router that won't have a delay. I guess I could buy another WGR614, but I assume there is a better router that will work for me. The router is directly two floors below me. If I move the console one floor down, I'm able to play without a delay.
