New Around Here
so i have a asus ac3200 i bought a few years back wich was very expensive at the time and i left it at my gf place for a year or so and i went to pick it up and every single one of the plastic anntennas have fallen off and they are just wires now. Im sure it still works but it looks ugly and im thinking since im buying a synology ds918+ this week i should maybe buy a new router.

I need it for gaming and i download tons of stuff on my 150 internet so i want the most future proof router i can find and something well reviewed but all the sites have different opinions and this forum seems the place to go for networking stuff. Im willing to spend maybe $400 canadian

R7800 and AC86U would be good ones to look at. If you want link aggregation then R8500 & RT-AC5300.
