@SebyD, what router? What firmware? Maybe the following is your issue if you have an RT-AC86U and you flashed 384.19 (alpha, beta, or final).

My router reboot unexpectedly a few hours ago, when it started again, connmon stats was gone since it last rebooted on oct 2. This also happening with ntpdmerlin. I set the storage to usb on both connmon and ntpd. is this a bug? other stats like uidivstats, traffic analyzer is fine tho.

v2.7.0 is now available

Changelog:
NEW: All connmon options can be configured in the WebUI
NEW: Ping test duration and frequency is now user configurable
CHANGED: WebUI "check for updates" no longer needs a page refresh (thanks to @dave14305 !)
CHANGED: WebUI tab name is now connmon and not Uptime Monitoring
IMPROVED: Reduced use of "lock files" to make script more responsive from the WebUI

Hey @Jack Yaz - is this me, my ISP, or the script since the update:

ping-7d.jpg

Part of me thinks it's constructive interference with SpdMerlin's testing...at XX:42 every hour. Yup:

I made the ping test frequency and duration configurable so you can adjust to your heart's content :)
just avoid 6&7 unless you like charts like mine ;-D

I'm using v2.8.0 of conmon and, at first, I got confused with the new configuration "Schedule for automatic speedtests" shown at web interface.

But then I looked at the CLI interface and saw that it was a bit different.

So, would it be possible to match names between interfaces, for consistency sake?

We call that a copy and paste error :(

option uf should fix this, or webui which should notice a hotfix available

Jack, I love this app. I wonder if you would consider removing the Ping test "Frequency" constraint. I find that 2-4x per hour sufficient. In the past I would simply override the cron job with a /15, but with the updated version every visit to the stats page seems to reset it to 10 minutes, which is currently your max.

I realize this is low burden on the router, but perhaps you could consider a max of 59 (to keep within the constraints of cron)?

Cheers,

Hey, I was wondering how is internet quality measured? My quality sits at 41% and I'm trying to figure out if it has to do with funky settings of my ac68u OR is it my ISP being shirtty. I know we're having issues with my internet right now and I want to make sure it's on my their end before I call in and complain. Thanks!

Line quality is essentially 100-packetloss from the ping test.

@Jack Yaz I'm running 386.1_2; conmon v2.8.4 on AC88U, and I'm not able to see 24hs charts. I have to switch them to 7 days or 30 days, if not they'll show up as empty. Any possible solution to it?

Also when exporting with non-unix, timestamp shows 12/31/1969 instead of 2020/2021

Thanks!

Yes, that's the first thing I checked and it's correct.
I even restarted the router, but nothing has changed.

can you send me a copy of your database? if its large I can send a dropbox link
non-unix exports fine here, seems like your data is using the wrong timestamp for some reason
over ssh what do you get for
Code:
date
