I have both SMB and FTP (LAN side only) enabled on my RT-N66U router and yesterday when I went to do some file operations, I got access denied messages. When I looked at the permissions on the SMB screen, all of the folder shares was reset to "N". I only looked at the permissions for the user we log in as on our Windows laptop so I don't know if others were reset or not. I then checked on the FTP screen and it was the same. There, I do have a username/password enabled and for that user, everything was reset to "N" access.
What would cause this ? I have disabled and re-enabled SMB and FTP before and it doesn't forget these permissions once those services are re-enabled. The router was not reset either.
