ac68u firmware 378.54_2
Hi
My PC is connected via a gigabit port on the router. From another port I have a link to a gigabit switch where I have my NAS connected.
Today I started transferring 345GB from my PC to the NAS. While doing this I couldn't access anything else on the network. Even pinging failed to all devices.
I stopped the transfer and removed the PC from the router and connected the PC to the same gigabit switch as the NAS.
Then transfers worked fine and I still had full network access.
Why would having the PC connected to the router have caused an issue ? Shouldn't the router be able to handle large data through put? The speeds I was getting were around 95MB/s
Any ideas
Thanks
