R-AC87u new branch 382

Hi.
Today Asus give me new fw for test dualwan. This fw is on new 382 branch.
Anyone have any info what new is in this branch ?

A guess would be finalized mu mimo and not Draft...byt thats just a guess from my side..

this is only test version for dual wan. I test e3372 4g modem but still have problem with back to primary wan when is restored.
IMO better wait for next release.

Is ther a new Quantenna Firmware?.

I have a problem to connect the AC68 in Repeater Mode (5GHZ) with the AC87 (Quantenne FW 37.4.0.56) latest release.
When i take a older FW for AC87 with (Quantenne FW 37.3.0.50) the AC68 is connecting.

On AC68 is the latest FW (3.0.0.4.380_3831)

382 is not easy to use, when I use a few features are not normal, may be NTP's sake!

I See you are connecting your n66u in repeater mode. Have you some issue or is the n66u connecting with the ac87. Maybe it works with 382.x

now i use 9460 fw for 87u and latest official for n66u and have no problem with repeater funcionality in n66u.

on 382 i test only dual wan funcionality, not test more, becouse 382 is early beta and more funcion not works correctly.

today Asus send to me new beta fw RT-AC87U_9.0.0.4_382_2469-ga66fb31.trx. This fw should fix dual wan issue.
I will test this fw today night and report in this topic

The same Quantenna Firmware with the Bug of the Repeater Mode. I hope with a new final Driver with offical MUMIMO the bug is solved.

@VANT can you please test if the repeater-mode is working for you on the latest N66u Firmware.

in my n66u i have RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_380_3831-g93dfe8c.trx fw and repeater work ok. I not test this funcionality with 87u with 382_2469 becouse in this beta not wotk AIProtection so i only test dual wan, report to asus and back to 9460.

The 382 branch is still early work in progress. Asus is still a few weeks away from a first beta release.
