Yeah, can’t update Skynet here, I’m thinking there is some internet badness still going on.
Looking like we might be online now……Cloudflare outage is still affecting Github which will lead to 404 errors when trying to update. It is also the reason for the wireguard error someone previously posted.
I find I have to manually update stats in the GUI with 8.0.5. Anyone else seeing this?
This is the first time I am experiencing an issue while updating to the latest release (previously upgraded from 7.6.5 to 8.0.0 to 8.0.1 to 8.0.2 to 8.0.3 to 8.0.4 successfully). I am only using the default settings and no additional block list. Also never rebooted the rooter since last official 3006.102.5 release:

Thank you.Stats update every 12 hours automatically, but this can also be triggered via the webui or running the stats command.
One more issue came up, when adding an IOT block to one of my devices I get the following error message:
Code:ipset v7.6: Error in line 1: Syntax error: cannot parse comment: resolving to IPv4 address failed [i] IOT Blocking List Cleared [i] Saving Changes
After that the IOT Blocking is set to [Disable] and all of my previous blocked devices i had configured under Skynet 7.6.5 have been cleared.
I had to uninstall and reinstall after update 8.0, and several other times. When adding back IoT blocking, it broke my IP tables rules and required uninstalling and reinstalling. after trying a couple times, I’ve left IoT blocking disabled for the time being. Running 8.0.4
I am however able to use a custom banmalware list successfully again.
Thank you for all your efforts, @Adamm
I can reproduce it reliably (several times yesterday), it is still doing it this morning, and Skynet Statistics still works fine:Can you reproduce this reliably or was it a once off?
Is it reasonably safe to conclude that the "missing Skynet" issues post-reboot have been fully resolved with the current 8.0.5 release?
Any issues when used in conjunction with the AGH (Ad-Guard Home) script?
