TP-Link TD-8616 dsl modem problem

i installed v.4 firmware instead of the correct v.6 in my td-8616 modem by mistake. now it does not open the configuration webpage ip 192.168.1.1 and has stopped working. Is there any way i can reverse this mistake to make the modem function properly again? I shall appreciate a useful reply from a friend. thanks

Have you tried their help desk. I purchased a TP-Link modem (can't remember the version here at work) and I had a question. They replied back within a day. As the review for their smart switch says, they have some small issues with English translations, but reading their reply email I was easily able to get the answer I needed.
