getting this in syslog:

any idea what's the meaning ?

Your router runs with Auto channel. Fix the channel to what works well and the ascd messages will disappear.

2.4G is fixed on ch 9, and 5G on ch 36
 
Thanks @ColinTaylor that made it. Any reason to prefer 20MHz to 40 ?
If you live in an urban area (perhaps you don't) the 2.4GHz band is so crowded that it's impossible use 40MHz bandwidth without suffering interference from overlapping or adjacent AP's. So people often find that they get a more consistent experience using 20MHz. 20MHz also tends to have a greater range. Obviously the theoretical maximum throughput would be halved compared to 40MHz, but that's often not really an issue. That said, everyone's wireless environment is different so use what works best for you.
