You also need to fix the 2.4GHz bandwidth (preferably to 20MHz) and not have it on 20/40.2.4G is fixed on ch 9

If you live in an urban area (perhaps you don't) the 2.4GHz band is so crowded that it's impossible use 40MHz bandwidth without suffering interference from overlapping or adjacent AP's. So people often find that they get a more consistent experience using 20MHz. 20MHz also tends to have a greater range. Obviously the theoretical maximum throughput would be halved compared to 40MHz, but that's often not really an issue. That said, everyone's wireless environment is different so use what works best for you.Thanks @ColinTaylor that made it. Any reason to prefer 20MHz to 40 ?
